CSP-3000 Series: Control and Scalability for High-Voltage LED Driver Applications

The MEAN WELL CSP-3000 AC/DC Power Supply brings scalability and control to high-voltage lighting applications.

As of July 2024, the MEAN WELL CSP-3000 series has an upgraded isolated circuit design for the onboard programmable voltage and programmable current (PV/PC) adjustment feature. This design will isolate the PV/PC circuit from both input and output terminals, allowing for Programmable Current adjustment during parallel applications.

This new integration will allow OEMs of large LED infrastructure to integrate the CSP-3000 as part of their systems' power supply, with greater control provided by PC voltage control signals.

An industrial example below showcases an automatic testing and sorting system for Solar Cell performance. This system encompasses five independent LED light sources to simulate varying degrees of sunlight for the quality assurance of solar cells. Each LED light source requires 400vDC/2000W, provided by five MEAN WELL CSP-3000-400 constant current drivers, with the system lighting intensity controlled via PC voltage signals.
