DIN Rail Power Supply with Battery Back Up
MEAN WELL's DRC and DRS series DIN rail power supplies, with built-in battery charging are highly cost effective.
As well as the primary output, these power supplies have a battery charger output with a lower rated current. This charger output can be used to charge batteries in a UPS application.
Within the DRC series there are various different power output options, with two voltage options. The A models have a 13.8VDC output and the B models have a 27.6VDC output.

There is also a battery low cut off and battery reverse polarity is protected by fuse. Both feature an alarm signal via a relay contact output to indicate AC OK and battery low.
The operating temperature of -30oC~+70oC is achieved through free air convection, meaning that there is no cooling fan that could potentially fail. Remember to check the derating curve in the data sheet if you are intending to use the DRC-100 in a warm environment.
