PowerNex Precision has introduced a new line of AC power cords under the MEAN WELL brand to meet customer needs for high-quality, affordable options. These new cords come in three versions to match different electrical standards around the world:
- EU1-MC13 for European outlets
- US1-MC13 for American outlets
- CN1-MC13 for Chinese outlets
These new cords are designed to replace older models (YP22+YC12 for Europe and YP12+YC12 for America) while offering better value for money.
Each version has been tested and approved by relevant international organisations:
- European cords: VDE, ENEC, and EAC certified
- American cords: UL and CSA certified
- Chinese cords: CCC certified
These certifications ensure that the cords meet strict safety standards in their respective regions.
