The MEAN WELL CMU2 power supply controller is available in 1 of 2 formats: A 3U rack mount device, or a standalone controller.
The controllers can control and monitor power supplies with either PMBus, CANBus, RS-485, or RS-232 protocols. The 7" LCD panel allows for easy onsite operation and there is an Ethernet port for remote control or monitoring.
As well as monitoring and setting the parameters of the power supplies such as output voltage, output current, internal temperature, fan speed, etc., the CMU2 can also be used to adjust the power supplies' output voltage and current. It can be used to control a single power supply or an entire power supply system via a local area network (LAN), or the internet.
Data and events can be recorded on to an SD card with a storage capacity of up to 32G. Application specific web-based monitoring-control user interfaces are available contact us for details.
