600-Watt Power Supply with UPS Battery Back-up Function
LAD-600
The MEAN WELL LAD-600 series power supplies have a UPS function that switches to battery back-up mode when the AC mains supply is disrupted. Once the AC mains returns to normal, the load is supplied from the AC mains and the battery recharged. There is a Forced UPS mode for battery maintenance. AC and battery circuit on-off switches ensure safety during maintenance.
There are 2 versions available. One version provides TTL signals for AC OK, battery disconnected, battery reverse polarity (no damage), battery low, battery full, and discharge for remote status monitoring. The other option is for a UART interface that allows for remote status monitoring and control.
The full range universal AC input make this power supply ideal for OEMs manufacturing equipment for global markets.
These power supplies are suitable for use with both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries and have a wide operating temperature range (refer to derating curve in data sheet).
