The MEAN WELL MSP-1000 series medical power supplies have 2 x MOPP (means of patient protection) medical safety approvals. With the appropriate system design considerations these power supplies can be used in body float applications.
The full range universal AC input makes them ideal for OEMs producing medical equipment for international markets.
These power supplies have a high efficiency rating and built-in active power factor correction. The low no load power consumption of less than 0.75 Watts adds to the list of energy efficiency credentials.
Up to 4 units can be connected in parallel to deliver up to 4000 Watts of power.
The MSP-1000 medical power supplies can withstand a 300VAC input surge for up to 5 seconds. Plus, they feature a remote on / off control function, and a DC OK output signal for remote status monitoring.
