1000-Watt Harsh Environment Power Supply with Battery Charger
HEP-1000
The MEAN WELL HEP-1000 series harsh environment power supplies have a rugged aluminium case, which provides excellent protection against knocks and bumps. There are 2 versions available. One has terminal block connections, the other has wired terminations and is IP67 rated.

Depending on the model, the output voltage and current can be dynamically trimmed (programmed) by applying an external voltage. These power supplies can also be set to operate as a battery charger. This is done using the SBP-001 programmer, which is available as an optional extra. They can also be configured via PMBus or CANbus, again depending on the model ordered.
The HEP-1000 models with the charging function are suitable for charging lead-acid batteries (flooded, Gel, and AGM).
They MEAN WELL HEP-1000 series have a remote on-off function and also give you a DC OK output for remote status monitoring, and they feature a 12V auxiliary power output.
The wide operating temperature range (refer to derating curve in data sheet) means these power supplies can be used in a wide range of harsh environment applications.

HEP-1000-24, HEP-1000-48, and HEP-1000-100 are standard models. All others are available via special order (MOQs may apply).
