40-Watt Dual Output PCB Mount Railway DC to DC Converter

The MEAN WELL RDDW40 series dual output DC to DC converters have been designed to comply with standard EN50155, so they are suitable for use in locomotive and passenger train or tram applications. No minimum load is required and they come in an industry standard DIP 2" x 1" package.

These DC to DC converters feature a built-in a remote on-off function and for safety, have either a 1.6KVDC or 3KVDC input / output protection, depending on the model selected (refer to data sheet below). The wide operating temperature (refer to derating curve in data sheet) means they can be used in most environments.
